FACE TO FACE GROUP TRAINING WILL RESUME AFTER 29TH MARCH WITH GROUP SIZES UP TO 6 INCLUDING THE TRAINER AS PERMITTED BYT GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES
This is a 6 week course for older puppies and adult dogs who have already completed a foundation training course either with Cleaver Dog Training or another force free positive reinforcement trainer.
It is run on a rolling programme to allow dogs to continue their training at any point. Training covered will include
- loose lead walking and heelwork skills
- recall with distractions
- distance positional changes
- send away
- emergency stop
- fun practical skills/tricks
- scentwork exercises
- body awareness courses
- impulse control skills
We will train face to face outdoors but if the weather is exceptionally bad (very heavy rain, strong winds or below 0 degrees); and if overnment restrictions do not permit indoor training, the session will be held at the usual time via Zoom. Participants will be expected to wear face masks if they are able to. In order to comply with the 'rule of 6', only one handler will be permitted to attend per dog and there will be a limit of 5 puppies per class unless government restrictions are lifted.
Clients are encouraged to join the dedicated client Facebook Group prior to commencing their training to familiarise themselves with our training methods, although this page is largely aimed at puppy owners. In particular we suggest you look at the Week 1 modules https://www.facebook.com/groups/618303232097410
