These agility sessions are aimed to promote confidence whilst and developing a great bond between you and your dog. Agility is a fun energizing activity for both of you and so much more fun than running on a treadmill! Sessions will help develop your dog’s confidence round a full set of competition standard equipment course of jumps and other obstacles.
Who?
Dogs must be over 12 months in order to participate in agility as below this age, they are still growing and can put too much strain on their limbs.
Basic obedience is required as your dog will need to be able to work off the lead. Completed a beginners agility course is required and the dog should be reasonably competent through 6 straight weaves (with guides if required as well as being familiar with the dog walk and A frame.
Whilst we can help you up to competive agility, we target at people looking to have fun training only or competing at a low level rather than people that have their sights on winning at Crufts!
We keep group sizes very small to ensure everytone gets the most out of the session. There are a maximum of 4 or 5 dogs per session which allows you to learn from watching each other but minimising waiting times.
Improvers Agilty takes place at various times throughout the week, both daytimes, weekends and and evenings, with each session lasting 1 hour.
PLEASE NOTE- Wednesday start time will vary as other courses are booked in. Up until 12th July the session will start at 7.30pm, then from 12th July it will commence at 8pm for 4 weeks and then go back to 6.30pm moving forward.
Each block of classes is 6 sessions - it is preferable to book the same session each week, but please get in touch if you want to book a more random pattern and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If you have specific requests for days and times, we will do our best to accommodate you and schedule a class accordingly. Please get in touch at [email protected]
Where?
All group training takes place at our own training centre at Copas Farrm, High Street, Old Amersham, HP7 0EG.
