STOP PRESS!  THE LEASE FOR OUR OWN DEDICATED TRAINING PADDOCK AT OUR MAIN TRAINING VENUE IN OLD AMERSHAM IS COMPLETED SO AGILTIY WILL NOW BE TAKING PLACE AT OUR MAIN TRAINING CENTRE IN OLD AMERSHAM

What & Why?

These agility sessions are for people who have previously done some agility but taken a break and feel that a refrehser would benefit them before joining a full group course.   We will work on any areas of concern that participants of the session have and aim to have you completing a short course at your ability level by the end.  We train using competiton standrad full sized equipemnt but will adust the heights accoring to your ability and aspirations.

Who?

Dogs must be over 12 months in order to participate in agility as below this age, they are still growing and can put too much strain on their limbs.

Basic obedience is required as your dog will need to be able to work off the lead.  Completion of a beginners agility course is required prior to attending these sessions, although we accept that this may have been some time ago and that you may both have become a little rusty!

Whilst we can help you up to competive agility, we target at people looking to have fun training only or competing at a low level rather than people that have their sights on winning at Crufts!

We keep group sizes very small to ensure everytone gets the most out of the session.  There are a maximum of 3 dogs per session.

When?

Refresher agility sessions will take place from time to time depending on demand and trainer/facility availability.  Please do get in touch if you have specific requests for session time sat [email protected].  Each refresher session will last 1 hour.   In the event that only one handler has booked the session, the session time will be reduced to 45 minutes.

Where?

All group training takes place at our own training centre at Copas Farrm, High Street, Old Amersham, HP7 0EG.

We will usually train face to face outdoors but if the weather is exceptionally bad (very heavy rain, strong winds or below 0 degrees);, training will take place in our training hall, unless government restrictions do not permit indoor training, in which case the session will be postponed.
